Terms of Booking (as at 22/01/2026)
By booking an appointment with Proud Speech Pathology, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Appointments & Services
Proud Speech Pathology provides clinic and school based speech pathology services, including early language guidance consultations and speech sound therapy.
Early language guidance services are consultative in nature and do not include formal assessment, diagnosis, or therapy.
Services are tailored to individual needs; however, outcomes cannot be guaranteed.
Booking & Payment
All appointments must be booked in advance.
50% deposit required at time of booking for the early language guidance service.
Fees are payable on the day of the appointment.
Proud Speech Pathology operates on a private fee basis for early language guidance services. Medicare rebates and NDIS billing may be applicable for other services.
Current fees are listed on the website and may be updated from time to time.
Cancellations & Missed Appointments
We require at least 24 hours’ notice for appointment cancellations or rescheduling.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, or non-attendance, will be charged the full session fee.
This policy helps ensure appointment availability for other families.
Attendance & Late Arrivals
Please arrive on time for your appointment.
If you arrive late, the session may need to be shortened to avoid impacting subsequent appointments.
Full fees apply to late or shortened sessions.
Parent / Caregiver Responsibility
A parent or legal guardian must attend appointments with children.
Parents are responsible for supervising their child at all times within the clinic environment.
Proud Speech Pathology is not responsible for injuries resulting from failure to follow safety guidance.
Reports & Information Provided
Written summaries or reports provided following consultations are for informational purposes only.
Reports may be shared with other professionals (e.g. GP) at the parent’s discretion.
Privacy & Confidentiality
Proud Speech Pathology complies with Australian privacy legislation.
Personal and health information is collected and stored securely and used only for service provision and related communication.
Information will not be shared without consent, except where required by law.
Scope of Practice
Speech pathologists at Proud Speech Pathology work within their professional scope and ethical guidelines.
We do not provide medical diagnoses, prescribe medication, or replace medical care.
Changes to Terms
Proud Speech Pathology reserves the right to update these Terms of Use at any time.
The most current version will be available on our website.
