Hi, I’m Shannon

I’m the owner and Speech Pathologist at Proud Speech Pathology, supporting young children and their families in Eglinton and Perth’s northern suburbs.

As a practising member of Speech Pathology Australia, I have experience working with children with speech sound differences, language and literacy challenges, stuttering, Autism, ADHD, and executive functioning differences.

My work is grounded in a child-led, play-based, and neuro-affirming approach. I understand that communication develops alongside regulation, confidence, and connection, not separately from them. When children feel safe and understood, learning follows. Parents know their children best, and I see therapy as a partnership built on listening, clarity, and shared understanding.

I feel genuinely privileged to support children in their communication journey, whether that means building early language, refining speech clarity, strengthening narrative skills, or developing the executive functioning foundations that support communication.

Alongside therapy, I offer early language guidance consultations for families seeking clarity about their child’s development. Sometimes reassurance and direction are just as powerful as intervention.

At the heart of Proud Speech Pathology is a simple belief: every child deserves to be understood, and every family deserves to feel confident, informed, and supported in the process.
